Additional lab notes: We are so happy to have this washed process coffee from Ethiopia. It is floral and smooth. Mouthwatering acidity is overtaken by a warm round flavor. We taste bergamot, lavender and black tea in this brew, and also had the impression of rose water. This coffee tastes very clean and becomes sweeter as it cools, also bringing out hints of lemon.
Preferred brew methods: Pour Over, Drip, Aeropress, French Press
About the Origin: This coffee, like our Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Mengesha Farms Natural, comes from a process station run by Tariku Mengesha. It is part of the Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm PLC, and we have carried many of their wonderful coffees over the years (kayon mountain taaroo washed was one of our favorites).
Certifications: Farm Gate
Sourced by: Coffee Shrub
